Digital signals represent data using discrete values (like 1 and 0). One example of an analog signal is a digital clock. It has exact values and is not continuos. Another is binary code. Computer use analog signal so they are very important. If you have enough detail in a digital signal it will look like an analog signal but if you zoom in it will not be perfectly curved.
